I want to repair dishwashers, where can I buy parts. I live in Atlanta Ga

You need to find an appliance parts wholesaler and set up an account.
You will probably need to be in business and have a tax ID number.
But they may let you without of coarse you would be charged retail price with no warranty.

We have the main parts of our MFI kitchen but now that they have ceased to trade we cannot get the replacement parts we need. Does anyone have any ideas where we might find either MFI parts or something that would match? I have tried ebay but no luck. We need an end panel for a wall unit, a new half glass door for a wall unit and a dishwasher door.

You can get them from Howden Joinery – branches everywhere.

The only thing is – they are TRADE ONLY, so you will need to get a friendly local tradesman to buy it for you. They carry most things in stock. You need to know the exact name of the kitchen (obviosly) – but you can go in and just pick up a kitchen brochure to help with identifying the bits you need or use the website.

Our dishwasher has been leaking out on the floor for awhile.. about a year and 3 months..
It’s a GE potscrubber 650

we’ve had it since 1996… my dad has tried to fix it, but he has a bad back and cant do a lot with it..

He wants to just go out and buy a new one.. I suggested that we have it fixed. He says "no because there will just be a 50$ service charge and probably an expensive part"

Does anyone know of any problems that might be wrong with it?

Like specific parts or anything?

He says it might be the seal or motor or pump…

buy a new one. you will pay more repairing it than you would to buy a brand new one.

My dishwasher isn’t working all of sudden. Does dishwashers have a fuse in the back? Or, do dishwashers need to be repaired or parts replaced by a technician?

yea ivenever seen the dishwasher have a fuse, but alot of dishwashers plug into the wall, so after years of shaking it may have worked its way out the plug, but yes its better to have a tech look , unless its old, then its not worth it , just buy a new dishwasher will cost you the same and you have something new

I have a Maytag dishwasher Model MDB5000AWW that has convertible tines on the bottom rack. I had to replace both of these tines and I can’t remember how to put them back together. Need help! The only thing I could find on the Maytag service page (after long searches), was the parts I needed so I could order them but not how they were put together. A picture would be VERY helpful.
