What should I do? Buy a new dishwasher for $199 or pay someone to fix it?
I think paying someone to fix it would cost the same to buy a new dishwasher, what is the norm to pay someone to fix it, it is not draining. What should I do? I know a service call is like $58, plus parts to fix and that labor too.
Wait…$199.00 will buy you a downright awful new dishwasher. You should expect to pay about $365 to $485 for a decent dishwasher that will actually clean your dishes in one cycle. You will waste your time and damage your dishes with the cheaper models. If you have a high performing dishwasher right now, you should probably pay to have it fixed unless the repair will be above 3/4 of a new, good, machine.
Where can I find an engineers manual for a Kenwood KDW12SS Dishwasher?
I need to replace the door catch on my Kenwood KDW12SS Dishwasher. I can get the part from various websites but they say it should be fitted by an engineer using the engineers manual. I don’t want to buy it and break the dishwasher fitting it incorrectly.

Dishwasher dispenser solenoid?
Detergent dispenser door does not open during wash cycle on my Chef dishwasher model B891WW as the solenoid coil has failed. Replacement part is the complete dispenser unit which seems overkill as all I need is the coil to get mine working. Does anyone know how to obtain a replacement coil or solenoid (240V 50hz) for this dispenser?
Do you mean magic chef? This is not a good model did you get it from the tag? anyways most magic chef dishwasher have a wax motor for the dispenser. why would a dishwasher not drain on the last part of the cycle?
My dishwasher works, it washes, but for some reason the last bit of water wont drain… i know its clean water as theres no cloudiness, no food particles, no soap bubbles left. Why would it do this? And! how can i fix it?
That’s the way it’s supposed to work. It keeps the parts from drying out.

It’s about 12 inches long and kinda flat, but not quite.
I’m guessing that the flat bar has holes drilled in it, spaced from top to bottom? If so, these holes should match up to holes drilled on the opposite piece. If this is the case the part serves as a large hing, and needs screws that fit snug used to reattach it. Good luck
