Can I wash Hot Wheels or other die cast toy cars in the dishwasher?

Author: I’ve been trying to research the Mattel/Hot Wheels website but can’t find any answer. Are these toys safe for the dishwasher? I know they have both plastic and metal parts so I don’t know if they can handle the heat, or if they will rush. Can I maybe just soak them in bleach water then rinse really well and let them dry? Also, are pretty much all plastic toys top-rack dishwasher safe? Thanks!
I would not put them in the dish washer any plastic on them will melt and that will create a huge mess i would wash them by hand with soap water and an old tooth brush to reach the hard to clean areas.

Which is a better dishwasher, Bosch or Miele?
Are parts readily available or are service calls rare for each? I want a dishwasher that will last longer than their American counterparts of 5 yrs+. Where should I purchase a Bosch or Miele dishwasher?
Miele, handsdown.
I work for an appliance company and we sell both. If your dishwasher is installed by a certified Miele installer, you get an additional year on your warranty.
They are also just as quiet (if not quieter) than the bosch.
Also, look into an Asko dishwasher. They all come with 3 years manufacturers warranty. We have both a Miele and an Asko dishwasher in our live kitchen, and I actually prefer the Asko over the Miele. It’s EXTREMELY quiet! We don’t even need to pre wash our dishes, even if they have hard, dried on oatmeal. It comes right off.
You can get Bosch in Sears (which to me, sell crappy appliances) or go to the brands’ website and hit "locate a dealer".
